About this role
The Sonographer is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring a safe, compassionate, and professional patient experience. This role requires strong technical expertise, clinical judgment, and the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations (e.g., abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and musculoskeletal imaging) Prepare patients, obtain history, and explain procedures clearly Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Ensure accurate documentation and maintain imaging records Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams Maintain patient safety, privacy, and infection control standards Support workflow efficiency in both scheduled and urgent environments Qualifications & RequirementsGraduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography programRegistration with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan (CMRIPS).Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferredStrong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound proceduresExcellent communication and patient-care skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamLegally authorized to work in Canada Work schedule:MondayFriday (8:00 AM5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch break) BenefitsDental careExtended health careGroup life insuranceVacation payOngoing learning and development opportunities Radiance Diagnostics thanks all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
