About this role

*We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and organized Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA)/ Front Desk Admin * to join our growing healthcare team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced private clinic environment and is passionate about helping patients feel supported throughout their recovery journey.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Licensed Physiotherapists to assist with patient care while also supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the clinic. This is a dynamic role that combines hands-on patient interaction with front-desk and insurance-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

* Assist physiotherapists with implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises * Prepare patients for treatment sessions and support them during exercises under therapist supervision * Set up and maintain clean, organized, and sanitized treatment areas * Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and supplies * Monitor patient comfort and progress during sessions and communicate concerns to the supervising physiotherapist * Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and progress notes

Administrative Duties

* Schedule and confirm patient appointments * Answer phone calls and assist patients with inquiries in a professional and friendly manner * Process billing for extended health benefits (EHC), MVA, and WSIB claims * Communicate with insurance companies regarding approvals, claims, and patient documentation * Assist with clinic marketing/social media initiatives and administrative projects as needed

Qualifications & Experience

* Previous experience working in a private physiotherapy or healthcare clinic preferred * Experience with EHC, WSIB, and MVA billing considered a strong asset * Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation * Familiarity with Jane software, patient scheduling, and insurance billing procedures * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
