*Office Assistant (Part-Time) ? Maan Farms Estate Winery*
*$18.25 ? $23.00 per hour · 3 days per week (6?8 hours per day)*
Maan Farms is a family-run estate winery in Abbotsford. We grow the fruit, make the wine, and sell it through our farm store, liquor retailers, and online. Our office is small and hands-on ? you'll get a look at how the whole business actually runs.
We're hiring a part-time Office Assistant to support our order desk and back-office admin. If you're the person who catches the typo, notices the missing line on an invoice, and likes clearing a list before lunch, you'll fit in well here.
*What you'll be doing*
* Taking and processing customer orders, including collecting payment * Answering the phone and replying to customer and account emails * Picking, packing and shipping online orders * Keeping our digital filing organized and up to date * Helping pull together month-end paperwork * Helping with scheduling
*What we're looking for*
* A sharp eye for detail ? the numbers, names and addresses need to be right the first time * Speed and follow-through ? you work efficiently and finish what you start, without letting accuracy slip * Clear, friendly writing and a good phone manner * Comfort with computers and the ability to pick up new software quickly * Able to lift cases of product (about 40 lbs) and be on your feet while packing orders * Reliable transportation to Abbotsford, and 19 years of age or older
No winery experience needed ? we'll train you. If you've worked in retail, food service, reception or any job where you had to stay organized and be good with people, we'd like to hear from you.
