SpectacoKids is a multidisciplinary autism and developmental support centre providing ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy services to children and families across Milton, Mississauga, Brampton, and surrounding areas. Our approach is collaborative, family-centred, and focused on delivering meaningful, individualized care.
*Position Overview*
We are currently seeking a *Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)* to provide *in-home speech therapy support* to children in the Brampton area.
This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Implement speech and language programs developed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist * Deliver 1:1 sessions in the client?s home * Support communication development (e.g., articulation, language skills, social communication) * Collect and document session data and progress notes * Collaborate with the clinical team and caregivers * Follow all professional and ethical guidelines
*Qualifications*
* Diploma or degree as a *CDA or SLPA* (required) * Experience working with children (required) * Experience with autism and/or developmental needs (asset) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently in home settings * Valid driver?s license and access to a vehicle (required)
*Schedule*
* Part-time hours (afternoons/evenings preferred) * Flexible scheduling based on client needs
*Compensation*
* Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and qualifications)
