O?Rourke Family Estate (OFE) is a 300-acre property with panoramic views of surrounding orchards, vineyards, rolling mountains, and the glistening water of Okanagan Lake. Inspired by Europe?s most famous wineries, the property features 110 acres of vines, 300 meters of winding tunnels, and 12,000 square feet of cave space to store and age wines. In addition to OFE, the O?Rourke portfolio includes Peak Cellars. Located on a 7-acre property in Lake Country, and is home to our Goldie Road Vineyard. Wine isn?t the only thing the property produces; the half-acre organic vegetable garden and two greenhouses supply the highest quality fruits and vegetables for the Garden Bistro.

*Role Scope: *We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Gardener to join our team at O?Rourke Family Vineyards Ltd. This position will perform ornamental and culinary gardening at our Peak Cellars facility.
*Responsibilities *
* Assist with task such as seed starting, microgreen production, greenhouse and field planting, fertilizing, harvesting crops * Flowerbed and planter maintenance * Planting of new garden beds both culinary and ornamental * Gardener will assist in weeding, raking, planting, watering, deadheading and harvesting at various properties within the estate
*Qualifications*
* Must have a valid Class 5 driver?s license * Willing to work in all weather conditions * Horticultural certificate or diploma preferred * Positive and punctual work ethic * Ability to lift heavy objects * Ability to work independently as well as in a group * Desire to develop and acquire new skills through on-the-job training
