Double A Painting Ltd. located in Victoria, BC is looking for 2 Painters to join its team as soon as possible.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* This position includes the preparation and painting of both interiorand exterior surfaces in residential, commercial, multifamilycomplexes and heritage buildings * Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping,sanding, filling and caulking to repair imperfections and prepare various surfaces for the application of coatings * Read and follow the specifications in the work order and follow the direction of your Foreman or Supervisor * Apply paint or other materials using brushes, rollers or spray equipment * Safely use ladders and elevated work platforms to perform the required tasks * Maintain a safe and tidy work area and clean up at the end of each day
Qualifications:
Education: High School education is required
Experience:
Completion of a three to four-year apprenticeship program
Or
2 years of work experience in the trade.
Language: English
Job Location: All over Victoria, depending on contract
Pay: $37.00-$38.50 per hour
