*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist that is looking for a busy spa available for bookings , to join our wellness team. Availability as per spa requirements , The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from tension through therapeutic massage techniques. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively with clients, and a solid understanding of medical terminology to ensure the highest level of care.
*Duties*
* Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs. * Assess client conditions and discuss treatment options based on their health history and preferences. * Utilize various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, to promote relaxation and healing. * Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. * Document client sessions accurately, including treatment notes and any changes in client condition. * Communicate effectively with clients regarding their experience, providing education on self-care practices and wellness strategies. * Uphold all safety and hygiene standards in accordance with industry regulations.
*Qualifications*
* Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. * Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to enhance communication with healthcare professionals. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. * A commitment to ongoing professional development in massage therapy techniques and practices.
