Hourly wage: $32.94Approval Date: July 27th, 2026, Posting ad length: July 27th, 2026 - August 24th, 2026Position Scope: The Program Director is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the home in accordance with KMRS's mission, goals, guiding principles, policies and procedures. The Program Director provides leadership, direction while enforcing rules, regulations and policies to ensure an effective staff team and optimal service-delivery. The primary role of Program Director is to serve the evolving needs of the Executive Director.The Program Director is, above all, responsible for ensuring that people with developmental disabilities are supported with respect, dignity and sensitivity.The Program Director is required to be able to independently manage their own time to a large extent while receiving administrative and program direction from the Executive Director.The Program Director may be asked to assume some of the Executive Director's duties that continues the function of the home during their absence (scheduled or emergency) for periods of time exceeding five business days. This is limited to agenda items that continue to preserve the state of Kings Meadow and does not include altering decision-making models, rule changing or engage in disciplinary actions without the approval or knowledge of the ED or the Board.Benefits: Program Director will have the opportunity to join our group benefits. Vacation time comes out in two allotments, a year. Sick time is granted at a monthly rate with the ability to bank them if not used. PD has statutory holidays off, and flexible scheduling with support of the Executive Director.Reporting Relationship(s): The Program Director reports to the Executive Director.Specific Responsibilities:Personnel/Staff Management:Scope of responsibility: To be responsible for all aspects of staff management within the organization at the standards set out in KMRS policies and procedures and government legislation.Follow's the Executive Director's directions while providing supports for staff in accomplishing organizational goals.Supports the recruitment, hiring, training and development of all staff.Provides ongoing coaching to support the development of staff.Determines and implements appropriate discipline once approved by ED.In the absence of ED develops and posts staffing schedules in a manner that ensures the home is staffed according to client needs and program budget allowances, as well as in the event of last-minute call ins.Enforces leave of absence policies.During regular and on-call shifts, receives short notice requests for time-off (sick leave, bereavement, etc.)Contributes to a positive, empowering work environment by demonstrating a positive approach in delivering KMRS directives and as a positive role model for staff.Prepares accurate reports for the Executive Director as directed.Responsible for other duties as assigned by ED.Financial:Scope of responsibility: To be responsible for all assigned aspects of financial management within KMRS Programs at the standards set out in KMRS policies and procedures and government legislation.Assists in the development and management of program budgets/ Verifies that expenditures do not exceed budgeted amounts and are consistent with KMRS policies and procedures.Confirms that accurate financial records are maintained and available for Petty Cash, Comfort Allowances and residents' personal money.Enforces that resident's personal money is managed according to policy including used for approved purposes and record-keeping.Prepares accurate reports for the Executive Director as directed.Responsible for other duties as assigned.Program:Scope of responsibility: To be responsible for all functions of management pertaining to the daily operations of the home at the standards set by KMRS policies and proced
