Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment. Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size. Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Plumber Red Seal Certificate. Type of service and repair: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Welding techniques: Brazing and soldering. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots.
