Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Dusty. Tasks: Assemble wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders and barrels. Reinforce assembled products with dowelling or other supports. Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards. Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces. Sort, pile and transport wood products. Remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing. Feed conveyors, hoppers, saws and drying machines. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Assist other processing workers in the operation of various woodworking machines and equipment. Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools. Pneumatic devices. Area of work experience: Assembly line. Security and safety: Bondable. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Standing for extended periods. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
