Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Construction. Various locations. Renovation. Commercial. Millwork/pre-fab shopwork. Residential. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel regularly. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Reliability. Team player.
