It is the cornerstone for all that we do here at Wyld. -Make a Mark -We Blaze Our Own Trail -Brand First -We Mean Business Summary The Payroll Administrator will oversee and facilitate the payroll functions of the organization, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. They will work directly with department leaders in order to ensure understanding of their roles and responsibilities in approving and submitting timecards. Gathers time records from employees and calculates hours worked and pay received for each employee accurately Responsible for ensuring that time records are accurate and that any inconsistencies or errors are resolved Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices Provides records and documentation to accountants for accurate payment of compensation and reimbursements Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing and systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions Audits benefit plans for accuracy, updates as necessary Identifies and recommends updates to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
