Location: New York or Connecticut area Compensation: Up to $100,000, depending on experience and level Employment type: Permanent, direct hire An established independent insurance agency is seeking a seasoned Claims Specialist or Claims Manager to strengthen its commercial claims capability. The role can flex based on the selected candidate: a manager-level hire may lead a small claims team, while a strong senior individual contributor can be considered for a specialist-level position. What you will do Manage and guide commercial insurance claims through clear communication, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through. Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, carriers, producers, and internal account teams. Advocate for clients and help move claims toward effective resolution. At the manager level, provide leadership and oversight for a small claims team. Contribute to a highly service-oriented, relationship-driven agency environment.
