We're recruiting for an enthusiastic and organised Aviation Safety & Compliance Officer to join our team at Jersey Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a career in aviation safety, compliance and assurance, helping to ensure the airport continues to operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with aviation regulations. Working alongside the aviation safety and compliance team, you'll support the delivery of the Airport's Safety Management System, assist with audits and investigations, help maintain key safety documentation, and work with operational teams across the airport to drive continuous improvement. Where there are gaps in experience, qualifications or skills, appropriate training and development support will be provided to help you reach the required standard. Support the delivery and continuous improvement of the Airport's Safety Management System (SMS) and Aviation Integrated Management System (AIMS). Coordinate occurrence reporting, helping to ensure safety events are recorded, investigated and followed through to completion. Support hazard identification, safety risk management and safety performance monitoring. Assist with internal investigations, audits and regulatory inspections. Monitor and track corrective actions arising from audits, investigations and safety reviews Support the Aerodrome and Air Navigation Services (ANS) compliance monitoring programme. Assist with external regulatory audits, inspections and mandatory reporting requirements. Maintain controlled safety documentation, manuals and records. Support safety communications, awareness campaigns, training materials and the promotion of a positive reporting culture. Work closely with operational teams across the airport, including ANS, engineering, fire and aerodrome operations, to support compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
