About this role

Job Purpose We are looking for an experienced Digital Product Manager to take ownership of a defined Higher Education website portfolio, including Universal Higher Education (UHE UK) and University of Southampton Delhi (UoSD) websites, oversee both project and business-as-usual (BAU) product management. This is a manager-level, fixed-term contract (to end August 2027) role that will play a critical part in embedding new ways of working, supporting ongoing enhancements, and ensuring these websites deliver against the needs of B2C and B2B audiences. This role requires commercial acumen to identify cross-sell opportunities and ensure each website supports student recruitment, partner, marketing, and business priorities. You will work closely with Marketing, Admissions, Sales/GRT, Central Technology and university partner teams, acting as the central point of contact for digital product management across the respective BAU platforms. You will balance business priorities with user needs, manage the product life cycle, and ensure a smooth transition into BAU operations for both websites. Product Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of UHE UK and UoSD websites, including roadmap management, backlog prioritisation, BAU operations, and ongoing product development. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across Higher Education, Sales/GRT, Marketing, Growth Marketing, Admissions, Corporate Partnerships, and university partner teams to capture requirements, improve journeys, and prioritise website enhancements. Requirements Gathering: Translate business and user needs into clear briefs including technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. BAU Operations: Work with internal developers within Digital Products and across the business, as well as external suppliers, to oversee ongoing maintenance, enhancements, issue resolution, and operational performance across the Higher Education website portfolio. Data & Insights: Use GA4, MS Clarity, SEMrush, and other analytics tools to track performance, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions. Marketing Alignment: Ensure UHE UK and UoSDe websites support marketing objectives, including SEO optimisation, lead generation, conversion optimisation, campaign activity, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities. UX & Content: Champion best practice in UX, accessibility, and content presentation to enhance user experience and engagement. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimise workflows, implement new features, and improve operational efficiency. Governance & Reporting: Monitor KPIs, prepare quarterly performance reports, and ensure website activity across the Higher Education website portfolio aligns with wider business, partner, and recruitment goals. Partner and Brand Alignment: Ensure each website reflects the relevant university partner proposition, brand requirements, compliance needs, and student recruitment priorities, while maintaining consistency with Oxford International’s wider digital standards. Define and embed new processes and ways of working: Establish and document clear workflows for website management, ensuring smooth handover from project to BAU and embedding best practice across teams and suppliers. Support the Digital Transformation Project Lead: Collaborate to gather, validate, and prioritise requirements for the development of the multisite model, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
