About this role
As a Permitting Team Leader, you will manage a team of permit administrators who are responsible for the statutory permitting duties in line with Streetworks legislation. The permitting department are an integral section within the larger department and are a huge support function over adherence of Streetworks legislation and jeopardy management of live permits. We are looking for someone to: Manage and efficiently resource the team, including weekend requirements, ensuring the office operation has adequate coverage, aligning to the field operation. Knowledge of the New Road and Street Works Act and Highway Permit Schemes is essential as well as experience of using Street Manager. Excellent communication and organisational skills to effectively lead a team and deal with queries. Ensure compliance is maintained in line with contractual KPIs.
