About this role
We’re looking for a hardworking and customer-focused Yard Team Member to support the day-to-day operations of our yard and store. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming environment for our members and customers, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the business. This role includes external working in all weather conditions and consistent lifting of goods up to 25kgs into Customers cars Contract: Permanent Hours: Part-time Hours of Work: 7.5 Hours per week, working every Saturday As a Yard Team Member, you’ll play a key role in stock handling, customer service, and maintaining high standards across external areas. You’ll support the Stock Supervisor and wider team to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for everyone who visits the store. This role includes external working in all weather conditions and consistent lifting of goods up to 25kgs into Customers cars Key responsibilities include: • Delivering excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard • Receiving, checking, and loading stock accurately and efficiently • Supporting Point of Sale operations when required • Maintaining external areas to a high standard of presentation • Investigating stock discrepancies and supporting seasonal stock reviews • Participating in stocktaking and maintaining stock file integrity • Following health & safety procedures and UFAS regulations
