Join our amazing team as our newest Veterinary Assistant! Our clinic operates six days a week, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and our close-knit team allows for strong, lasting relationships with clients and their animals. Key Requirements: Ability to multitask efficiently across responsibilities such as answering phones, assisting in exam rooms, and filling prescriptions Comfortable handling animals of all breeds and sizes Proficient in both computer use and phone communication Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact warmly and professionally with clients Looking to fill the following shifts: Fri. 8am-6pm Sat. 8am-12pm **If interested and willing to learn, we will train the right candidate** Restraining a variety of canines and felines for the doctors and technicians Cleaning (Sweeping, Mopping, cages, dishes, garbage, exam rooms, treatment area, etc.) Administering oral medications Documentation of general well-being of patients during intake Preparing surgical material in coordination with the surgical handbook (ensure materials are sterilized and prepared for procedures) Assisting LVTs with TPRs & blood pressures. Capturing various types of radiographs including but not limited to the thorax and abdominal views
