About this role
We're looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team and help deliver safe, high-quality dental care across clinic-based and community/mobile settings. You'll work directly alongside dentists and hygienists, play a key role in patient experience, and ensure our clinical environments meet the highest standards of safety and compliance. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, anticipating provider needs and keeping patients comfortable Perform authorized reversible intraoral procedures under appropriate dentist supervision per RIDOH regulations Sterilize and process instruments and equipment per infection control standards (OSHA/CDC) Prepare and expose dental radiographs and ensure images are ready for diagnosis Monitor, store, and handle clinical supplies and hazardous materials safely Travel to community and mobile clinic sites to support outreach dental services Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver a consistently positive patient experience
