The post holder will also lead on the medical management of cases in the HTT and provide support and advice to non-medical colleagues across both pathways. There will also be a need for the post holder to support multi- agency working across sectors and plan appropriate discharge/ suitable alternatives to admission on a case-by-case basis. They will also be expected to work closely with the operational manager of the Crisis pathway, lead nurse, the full-time consultant in the CLiC team and both team managers.

Within the current service, the expectation of the consultant is to lead on the assessment and risk management of 2-3 high risk complex crisis cases a week which will include 1-2 follow ups across both teams.

Main duties of the job
