Our pharmacy department is an integral part of the hospital, providing essential support through both ward and dispensary-based services.

Main duties of the job If you're a Pharmacy professional eager to be part of an innovative, youthful, and vibrant organization, this role promises an engaging journey. Your role will be part of a cohesive team consisting of a Lead Pharmacist, a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist, and an experienced Pharmacy Technician. Together, you'll oversee the entirety of Medicines Management, covering prescribing, dispensing, risk management, governance, ordering, and supply. Moreover, you'll actively engage in training, continuous improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and ensure that service performance consistently meets the highest standards.

Qualifications Essential
NVQ3 and BTEC or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Sciences Registered Pharmacy Technician Evidence of continuing professional development Willingness to undertake appropriate pharmacy accreditations as part of career progression Experience of working in a dispensary based environment Previous experience of working in a UK hospital.
Desirable
Accredited checking technician Accredited medicines management technician.
