About this role
Proposes solutions to complex and reoccurring problems on production equipment to Maintenance Technicians and Management to resolve issues.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems issues that arise during assigned shift
Oversee production within assigned work area
Assist in repairing equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment within assigned work area
Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with Clemens's defined processes including SOPs, Safety Standards, etc.
Work independently and with other team members in assigned work area to complete repairs and preventative maintenance tasks in a safe and timely manner.
Lead and Participate in Equipment Setup during the production start operations and product change over actives on a daily basis.
Understand and follow plant safety rules including Lock out Tag out, safe lifting practices and safe machine operation.
Utilize Computers including Microsoft Outlook (E-mail) and SAP (Work Orders/PM Completion)
Coordinate, Train, and Certify other Production Team Members in LOTO as directed by Supervision.
Coordinate, Train, and Certify other Production Team Members on the use of Forklift (PIT) Equipment as directed by Supervision
Train and Certify Production Team Members on the operation, setup, and troubleshooting of production line equipment and tools as requested by Supervision.
Identify repairs and process improvements needed to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment within the department. Submit work requests as needed. Escalate any roadblocks to production and maintenance management.
