As a global leader in logistics and supply chain management, we’re building a world-class Accounting hub in Heredia—and we’re looking for an experienced RTR Senior Accountant to play a critical role in our Finance transformation. Purpose of the job: The Finance Accounting Operating Model (AOM) is a strategic initiative within the DHL Supply Chain (DSC) Reimagine Finance program. Its objective is to establish a new Financial Accounting Operating Model aligned with the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, delivering cost and efficiency benefits while positioning DSC to fully leverage future digitalization innovations. This is achieved through strict adherence to global standards and continuous process improvement. This role will be responsible for performing the accounting processes for their respective countries by working closely with the Country Operations, Country Finance, Controlling and Shared services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with company policies and established procedures. • Perform reconciliations of general ledger and balance sheet accounts, ensuring supporting documentation is complete and accurate. • Assist in the review of Capex-related purchase requisitions and maintain supporting documentation in line with company policies. • Monitor and follow up on open bank reconciliation items and escalate outstanding issues as required. • Support the accounting and reporting of fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and other assigned processes in coordination with the SSC and local finance teams. • Support cash management activities, including the preparation and processing of internal and external banking transactions. • Maintain lease data within the IFRS 16 system and assist in the preparation of lease accounting reports. • Collaborate with country teams and shared service centers to gather required information and support process completion. • Execute assigned processes within agreed service levels and KPI requirements. • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations. • Support Accounting Governance and other stakeholders by providing information and documentation as requested. • Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits.

• Support standardization efforts across the team.

Key Requirements

• · Bachelor’s / advanced bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. • · Qualified or part-qualified accountants (e.g., CPA, CPI, ACCA, or equivalent). Experience Level:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting roles. • Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements in relation to accounting standards (IFRS) and local GAAPs in scope. • Advanced Excel. • • • •
