Automation Test Engineer
Job description: We are seeking a skilled Tosca Automation Tester with 2–7 years of experience in software testing and automation, preferably within the Health Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Tricentis Tosca automation, strong knowledge of healthcare payer processes, and experience testing applications such as TruCare. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of healthcare applications. Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca. • Analyze business and functional requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and testing needs. • Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools. • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. • Ensure testing activities comply with healthcare industry standards and organizational quality processes. • Prepare test execution reports and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. • Support production validation and post-release testing activities as needed. Required Skills
• 2–7 years of experience in Software Testing/QA. • Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca Automation. • Experience in test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management. • Good understanding of automation frameworks and test automation best practices. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Domain Experience
• Healthcare/Health Insurance domain experience is required. • Understanding of: • Member enrollment and eligibility • Claims processing • Care management • Utilization management • Case management • Provider and member workflows
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in Tricentis Tosca (preferred). • Experience with API testing and database validation. • Knowledge of SQL and healthcare data models. • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps. Nice to Have
• Experience with CI/CD integration. • Exposure to HL7, EDI, FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards. • Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, or Commercial Health Plans.
