Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
Job Description: Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer Location: Razgrad, Bulgaria Join Our Maintenance Team Are you passionate about electrical systems, automation, and industrial technology? We're looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to help ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll combine hands-on technical expertise with problem-solving and continuous improvement, working on a wide range of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems in a modern production environment. What You'll Do As an Electrical & Instrumentation Specialist, you will:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system failures to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain electrical installations, measuring instruments, control systems, actuators, and automation equipment.
• Read, interpret, and update electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Configure, calibrate, and optimize instrumentation and control devices.
• Support equipment upgrades, modernization projects, and new equipment installations.
• Develop or modify electrical diagrams and automation programs where required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and plant performance.
• Document maintenance activities and manage work orders within SAP and WAVE.
• Support maintenance planning and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and operators on new equipment and systems.
• Participate in an on-call/shift rotation when required. What We're Looking For Education
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical, instrumentation, automation, or industrial maintenance. Technical Skills You have:
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems and control equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and automation systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of industrial instrumentation, sensors, control valves, and actuators.
• Good computer skills and experience using maintenance management systems (SAP is an advantage).
• Basic programming or PLC knowledge is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics is a plus. What Will Make You Successful You are someone who:
