Accountant - Payables

• Update foreign exchange rates daily based on ANZ Bank rates. • Process payments according to the schedule provided by the Accounts Payable (AP) team. • Download credit and debit advice from the internet banking system and maintain proper filing of related documents. • Execute foreign exchange (FX) hedging transactions for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) related to service and indirect procurement transactions. • Prepare and provide FX hedging documentation to the bank. • Record daily bank transactions from bank statements into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC 365). • File paid payment documents and submit them to the document storage vendor (Crown). • Perform weekly and monthly reconciliation between bank statements and accounting records in BC 365. • Prepare weekly cash flow reports and coordinate with the Treasury team to arrange funding or loans as needed. • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports. • Perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation for bank accounts. • Assist with or lead special projects as assigned. Job requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related field. • 1-3 years of relevant working experience; experience in banking or financial services is preferred. • Good knowledge of banking operations. • Good English communication skills. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; proficiency in accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC 365) or equivalent systems is an advantage.
