Job Description: What is it really like working as a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Engineer with expertise in the manufacturing & electronic assembly environment under pinned by Operational Excellence?

As an Industrial Engineer in this position, the candidate will apply engineering and data-driven techniques to optimize workflows, equipment layouts, and resource utilization across the manufacturing environments. This role leads and/or supports factory planning & layout design, time studies, process and value stream mapping events to drive efficiency, eliminate waste, and improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics & related Key Performance Indicators. The Industrial Engineer also supports capital planning, lean initiatives, and strategic decisions related to capacity and future growth. Collaboration across operations, facilities, and engineering is essential to ensure sustainable and scalable manufacturing systems. This is a first shift position working a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off!

In this Industrial Engineer position you will make impacts in the following ways; • Perform work time studies, Static & Dynamic capacity models and analysis, and value stream mapping to support operational efficiency. • Design and manage factory layouts and equipment placement for optimal material flow and productivity. • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean manufacturing principles and practices to promote capacity liberation improving overall velocity of manufacturing throughput consistently driving down production lead time. • Coordinate MEP requirements for equipment installations with facilities teams. • Support equipment relocation and production transitions between manufacturing sites. • Manage capital projects and procurement for facility upgrades and new equipment. • Maintain layout drawings and documentation to reflect factory changes. • Train and support production teams on process improvements and best practices. • Represent industrial engineering in reviews, audits, and customer visits. The selected individual will support the CEMA-NH Mfg business which is experiencing continued growth. The individual will support a workflow balance, capital equipment procurement and utilization, and will actively work with the CEMA team to optimize material flow and yields throughout the value stream. Additionally, the individual will partner with additional Industrial Engineers in their deployment in an apprenticeship like experience allowing for practical training, knowledge transfer, and project management experience in a tangible, hands-on environment. Guidance and support will be provided by the other IEs as well as the individual’s direct leadership while advancing their own independent project work.

Required Skills and Education: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering • 6 or more years of overall engineering and manufacturing experience with 4+ years’ experience in an Industrial Engineering role • Demonstrate strong technical aptitude, communication skills, and be able to work cross-functionally within the operations organization and with other disciplines/functions. • Strong problem-solving capabilities and experience developing capacity models and floor layout
