BAE Systems is looking for well-qualified professionals to join our team for an exciting opportunity to support the readiness and sustainment of the USAF Minuteman III (MMIII) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) program. It is America’s only dedicated ICBM Test Range professionally executing tests that accurately measure the current and future capability of the nation’s ICBM force. This mission helps to establish accuracy and reliability planning factors under operational conditions, detects changes in weapon system accuracy and reliability, identifies areas for weapon system modification or improvement, and verifies operational effectiveness and suitability through demonstration. This position will directly support the MMIII ICBM program through operational test launch preflight planning, launch support and post launch analysis. Essential Functions: Provide engineering & technical support for the Minuteman III Weapon System. • Provide engineering & technical support for the Minuteman III Weapon System. • Provide, at leadership request, insight into maintenance performance utilizing real-world experience to highlight gaps and shortfalls in processes, to include training and maintenance performance at Operational Wings and codify differences. • Provide support analysis for hardware receipt inspections, hardware and software processing and system integration, launch preparation and test data evaluation. • Provide engineering and technical expertise to support the preparation and launch of the MMIII ICBM in accordance with Range Commander`s Council 319 and 324-01 guidance and Western Range requirements to include radars, telemetry, communications, data transport and displays. • Support MMIII operational test launch preflight mission planning, test launch meetings, post launch flight assessment, and analysis discussions. • Provide on-site engineering expertise, insight, corrective action, guidelines and information concerning the MMIII weapon system in all areas. • Prepare and publish prelaunch processing reports, missile test data, white paper briefing material, quick-look evaluations and performance reports. • Be responsible for MMIII prelaunch processing tasks, which include monitoring processing operations, verifying missile test data and providing weapon system analysis. • Monitor weapon system performance utilizing various weapon system monitoring equipment. • Observe and verify coding operations to ensure correct information is being loaded for mission requirements to include verification against the Master Nuclear Certification Listing and the Test Execution Instruction for each mission. • Develop test plans, procedures, review test documentation and coordinate changes with ICBM-System Directorate or other appropriate agencies as required. • Provide Operational Test Launch training to the customer to provide an informative overview as it supports the functions of the Minuteman III test campaign, modernization, technology maturation and development as required. • Have a strong understanding of Military Protocol, System Integration, Mission Assurance and Risk Analysis with respect to ICBM Operational Test Campaigns. • Provide engineering support necessary to support the Air Force with in-flight missile test anomalies. Provide analysis in determining causes/malfunctions and develop corrective action solutions through pre & post launch data reviews. • Monitor current and future range instrumentation capabilities and requirements and coordinate with subsystem contractors as needed. • Support squadron on new emerging technologies such as AFSS and other Range Test Capabilities. • Be able to support the 377 TEG and 576 FLTS Air Force Mission Leadership on Go/No Go criteria based on mission objectives and requirements. • Coordinate with Air Force customers to resolve any technical support issues. • Be familiar with the MMIII Security Classification Guide. • Prefer MMIII telemetry understanding, work with analog measurements, discrete data, digital data, and operational ground/flight computer words and have an ability to perform derived data products produced from IRIG Chapter 10 telemetry files. • Support Sentinel CTF meetings that include CONOPS, Flight Test Matrix, and Cyber discussions to help Sentinel clear roadblocks. • Review all UDS documentation to support required data products. #ASFS

Required Skills and Education: Required Education: BS/MS in electrical eng, electronic eng, aerospace eng, mechanical eng, chemical eng, material eng, software eng (including degrees listed as acceptable for software), physics, mathematics, quality assurance, or statistical analysis. 7 yrs directly related experience (5 yrs with MS degree). At least 3 yrs progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership

Required Experience: May substitute equivalent experience, training and/or certifications for the degree 3 years of directly related experience (2 years with an MS Degree)

Must be detailed oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently Must be able to operate under a timeline driven process environment and able to solve problems relatively quickly and supportive IAW USAF technical directives Must possess good verbal and written technical communication skills Eligible candidates must be able to acquire and hold a Top Secret security clearance
