Job Description: Join a high-performing team of innovators dedicated to positioning BAE Systems as an industry leader. We are seeking a Proposal Analyst to lead cost and pricing analysis activities. Reporting to the CMS Proposal Manager, you will be accountable primarily for cost and price analysis required for CMS proposals and procurement. Key Responsibilities • Cost Analysis and Price Analysis: Perform comprehensive evaluations of supplier proposals to develop detailed yet concise reports. These reports must synthesize key financial drivers, validate the Basis of Estimate (BOE), and assess pricing fairness to ensure optimal value and regulatory compliance. • Strategic Planning: Develop strategic plans for proposal analysis, manage compliance components, and drive adherence to proposal schedules. Conduct daily and weekly checkpoints to ensure milestones are met and proactively resolve barriers to quality and timeliness. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide guidance to cross-functional teams and partner with supply chain to ensure compliant proposals requirements
Required Skills and Education: • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience or equivalent experience • Experience with Supply Chain Proposals • Procurement Process Knowledge / Experience • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing • Experience with ERP • Experience working with cross functional teams • Ability to manage resources in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects with tight schedules • Strong excel skills • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills

Preferred Skills and Education: • Data Analytics/Financial Analysis Skills • Microsoft Excel knowledge - i.e. Macros, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), etc. • Experienced in Oracle ERP/OBIEE a plus
