Main duties of the job The Head Chef role at Kings Lodge Nursing Home involves working 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends, with an hourly pay rate of £18.22. The successful applicant will have a minimum NVQ 2 qualification, with NVQ 3 preferred. Although Food Safety Level 3 is desirable, training is available for the right candidate. The role requires creating fresh, nutritious meals for residents using the best ingredients. The Head Chef will lead by example, mentor the kitchen team, and bring creative flair to high-standard hospitality. The position offers the benefit of straight shifts with no evening work, and a comprehensive induction will be provided.
