About this role

Job summary

North Colchester PCN is a group of 5 practices, based in and around Colchester, in north east Essex. We are looking for a newly qualified GP to join our PCN under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). We are dedicated to providing the highest standards of care to our practice population and hope to find a like minded individual to offer a supportive start to their general practice career.

This position is part-time, for four sessions a week, and offered on a fixed-term contract, ending 31st March 2027, with a view to extend.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be working alongside our GPs, paramedics, nurse practitioners and other ancillary roles across all five sites on a rota basis created to be supportive to the candidate.

Face-to-face, telephone and video appointments with patients Participating in home visits Joining clinical meetings and learning events Actioning tasks and results Maintaining and broadening your clinical knowledge base

North Colchester PCN supports over 37,500 patients in the Colchester area from 5 sites: Bluebell Surgery, Highwoods Surgery, Lawford Surgery, Mill Road Surgery and Winstree Medical Practice.

Qualifications Essential

fully qualified GP with GMC registration within 2 years of completion of your registrar training
