Spire St Anthony's Hospital has an exciting bank opportunity for a healthcare assistant to work in the pre-assessment department on a flexible working basis.
Main duties of the job
Duties and responsibilities:
Assist the qualified nursing staff, under their supervision, in providing a high quality, comprehensive service to all patients and users, ensuring a high standard of a patient care is maintained in a clean and safe environmentCorrectly undertakes assessment tasks that have been delegated in relation to the specific individual as agreed with the care team.Receive, transmit, store and retrieve information Undertake basic observations of patients' vital signs.Records information related to designated tasks accurately and passes it on to the relevant person in the team on time.Identifies and reports any significant changes that might affect the individual's health and well being to the appropriate person.

Spire St Anthony's Hospital has an exciting bank opportunity for a healthcare assistant to work in the pre-assessment department on a flexible working basis.
The successful applicant will work in a team that provides high-quality evidence-based nursing care in clinic settings to facilitate smooth and efficient patient pathways.
Spire St Anthony's Hospital, founded in 1904, delivers care through skilled and dedicated staff working together. With a completed £27m development investment, we provide very high quality healthcare to patients around Sutton, Epsom, Surrey and South London.
Duties and responsibilities:

Who we're looking for:
Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environmentExperience ideally within POA, will consider Hospital experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essentialNVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essentialExperience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations is essential
