As a Project Manager in ICON’s Language Services department, you will manage end-to-end translation and localization projects for life sciences clients, ensuring delivery to scope, timeline, budget, quality, and regulatory expectations. You will act as a key contact for clients, internal teams, and vendors while supporting process improvement, risk management, and high-quality project execution.

What You Will Do:

• Manage the full lifecycle of Language Services projects from initiation through delivery and post-project review. • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and client expectations. • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, managing communications, issues, and escalations. • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external language resources to ensure smooth project delivery. • Monitor project performance against scope, budget, quality, and timeline requirements, taking corrective action as needed. • Manage project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, invoicing support, and profitability monitoring. • Identify risks, scope changes, and operational challenges early and implement mitigation plans. • Support quality management activities, including investigations, CAPA support, RCA/5 Whys, and process improvement initiatives. • Contribute to technology, automation, and workflow improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability. • Mentor Associate Project Managers and junior team members, sharing project management best practices. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Profile:

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Languages, Translation, Healthcare, Business, or a related discipline. • 3+ years of project management experience in translation, localization, language services, or clinical research. • Experience managing life sciences translation projects, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or clinical research content. • Strong project planning, financial management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment. • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors. • Experience supporting quality investigations, CAPA activities, and process improvement initiatives. • Proficiency in CAT tools, translation management systems, project management software, and Microsoft Office applications. • Native, professional, or advanced proficiency in Simplified Chinese, with fluent English communication skills. • PMP certification preferred. • Commitment to quality, compliance, and customer service. • Willingness to travel occasionally, approximately 10%, when required.
