What You’ll Do The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the Company’s financial records and supporting the General Accounting team in performing the month-end close process, with a primary focus on overhead expenses (OpEx/SG&A), prepaid and accrued expenses, and balance sheet integrity. This position reports to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis.
• 50% - Perform monthly closing procedures including the preparation and review of journal entries, intercompany transactions, and profit and loss/balance sheet account reconciliations. • 20% - Prepare, review, analyze and communicate financial, accounting and statistical information to key stakeholders. • 15% - Partner with other departments to ensure new services are captured in a timely manner, verify billing accuracy, contract terms, and expected expenditure timing. • 5% - Proactively identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows, enhance internal controls, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of the month-end close. • 5% - Investigate and research accounting questions related to internal and external reporting issues to ensure that financial activity is recorded consistently with company policies and GAAP. • 5% - Respond to ad-hoc reporting, analysis and special assignments, as needed.

Preferred Skills & Experience
• BS in Accounting • 4+ years of progressive corporate or general ledger accounting experience • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Must be an analytical and critical thinker with the ability to dig deep into the details but present high-level findings to management • Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) • Detailed oriented and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work within a team environment • Be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly • Netsuite experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
• CPA or equivalent highly favorable, but not required

Salary Range $80,000.00 - $95,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
