Responsibilities

The Restoration Technician supports emergency response and restoration efforts following water, fire, and smoke damage. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, requiring attention to detail, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safety while helping restore properties efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
● Perform water mitigation and extraction using pumps, vacuums, and other restoration equipment ● Conduct fire and smoke damage cleanup, including deodorization and debris removal ● Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers ● Complete demolition and removal of damaged materials as required ● Respond to emergency service calls, including on-call and after-hours work when needed ● Document job progress with photos, notes, and daily logs ● Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) ● Communicate professionally with managers and supervisors at job sites Skills ● Safety Awareness: Ability to follow safety protocols and use equipment responsibly ● Communication: Clear and professional communication with team members and leadership ● Reliability: Dependable and responsive, especially during emergency situations ● Attention to Detail: Accurate documentation and careful execution of restoration tasks ● Teamwork: Willingness to support coworkers to complete jobs efficiently ● Physical Capability: Ability to perform physically demanding work in various environments ● Additional Floor care responsibilities
Requirements
● Minimum of 1 year of experience in restoration, construction, or a related field preferred ● IICRC certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) ● Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts ● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
