This position is responsible for quickly identifying the customer’s needs and/or business opportunity in order to direct them to the correct department or sales group within the company using sales skills and exceptional service. They develop long-term customer relationships, creating value through proactive account management to understand and meet the customers’ business needs. They establish and record buying trends and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts. • Executes 30-50 outbound calls each day • Records all customer conversations in CRM • Meets the targeted levels of customer meetings (telephone meetings) • Manages sales at existing accounts as well as develops new business • Ensures customers view H.B. Fuller as a partner by providing professional sales representation and excellent service. • Gains customer support and acceptance by engaging in technical discussions to determine requirements and expectations, then effectively explore product and service solutions. • Influences and gains alignment with both external and internal key decision makers and influencers at all levels of an organization. • Identifies, develops and closes new business using tools such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo, to include: Cold calling, market research and lead sourcing • Through verbal and written communication, determine business requirements and expectations • Identifies decision maker(s), influencers and develops relationships • Develops, enters and updates opportunity process in CRM • Partners with HBF Account Managers to ensure closure of new business, including pricing recommendations and contact development • Partners with HBF Account Managers to coordinate customer site visits to run line trials and/or audits.
