Responsibilities Tester I Comply with the company and site safety and quality policies, processes, and procedures Maintain clean work environment and comply with 5S standards Follow and complete established procedures, processes, and policies Use standard work, programs, and work instructions to test all products, models, and/or subassemblies Interpret schematics and drawings to properly test all products Troubleshoot and document all product, models, and/or subassemblies appropriately to meet quality standards Perform minor repairs per work instruction/standard work within takt time; refer major repairs to appropriate resources Collaborate on improving processes, lead times, productivity and cost using the DTZ process Obtain and renew safety certification as needed to properly move and/or test all products, models, and/or subassemblies Additional duties as assigned including flexing to other departments
Tester II All Tester I responsibilities. Train employees on tester responsibilities in alignment with standard work/work instructions Inform maintenance team of preventative maintenance opportunities for test equipment Program systems on the product to perform testing as needed Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of product testing in a manufacturing environment Effective written and verbal communication skills Demonstrate problem solving and troubleshooting skills to implement appropriate countermeasures Intermediate PC knowledge Understand testing process Perform basic reading and math functions Perform basic manufacturing assembly skills Work in a team environment effectively Model positive and professional work ethic Train other employees “We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.”
