Job Summary Job Description Summary: The “Quality Engineer” will be based in Flex South Site, reporting to Business Excellence Manager Responsible for maintaining quality engineering programs, standards and continuous improvements. Responsibilities:
• Develop standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation. • Create sampling procedures and quality data reporting formats. • Implement disposition methods for nonconforming material and cost analysis. • Lead product testing, measurement and quality data analysis. • Prepare and deliver training on quality control activities. • Support Product Engineers and QPMs on customer quality issues. • Ensure integrity, consolidation and reporting of quality data. • Initiate and track corrective actions to closure. • Support development and execution of quality audits. • Maintain and improve quality standards for products and processes. • Define inspection, testing and evaluation procedures. • Analyze returns and recommend corrective actions. • Evaluate accuracy and capability of production and test equipment. • Approve product, process and equipment qualifications. • Act as liaison with regulatory entities. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced English • 6+ years in engineering within electronics or related industry. • Strong knowledge of advanced mathematical and statistical concepts. • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and complex instructions. • Experience with electronics assembly, SMT, PCB and schematics. • Inspection experience: boards, systems, components, microscope tools. • Use of mechanical, electrical and office tools/software. • Knowledge of electronic test equipment and programming basics. • Advanced technical, operational and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to train others and support full test process. • Strong customer interaction and cross-functional collaboration. • Expert knowledge of function and understanding of business processes.
