About the role

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join Trinity College London’s Group Finance team. You will deliver expert financial and management accounting support to international Markets, including China, Hong Kong, Australia & New Zealand, North America & Caribbean, while advising Market Directors, budget holders and department heads. As a trusted advisor, you will partner with the Finance Director and Group Finance team to enable business growth aligned with Trinity’s strategic vision, maintaining robust financial management and accurate records. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact. You will lead planning, reporting and forecasting activities, provide commercial insight, support strategic reviews and business cases, and enhance financial processes that drive continuous improvement across the organisation. You will also interpret financial information to guide decision-making, challenge assumptions and help Markets understand performance outcomes while delivering finance as a service.

About you

The successful candidate will be a qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICA or ICAEW professional with advanced Excel skills and strong financial and analytical capabilities. You will be an excellent communicator with a proven ability to build effective relationships in a business partnering environment, influencing stakeholders at all levels. Confident in advising, challenging and negotiating, you will be comfortable working with individuals from a range of backgrounds and perspectives, including senior leaders.

You will be able to analyse and interpret large volumes of complex information, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when working under pressure and to tight deadlines. A strong commercial mindset is essential, with the ability to apply sound business principles to financial analysis and recommendations. Experience of using the Sun Accounting System would be advantageous.

Ideally, you will also have a proven track record of delivering results within demanding timescales and will have experience working within a multi-cultural and multi-site organisation.
