GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK Under the supervision of the principal and supervising teacher, the Instructional Paraprofessional- (Kindergarten) assists in the daily supervision and instruction of students. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Follow the directions of the teacher and/or principal
• Supervise students in instructional situations in the manner prescribed by the teacher and/or principal
• Consult with the teacher concerning academic expectations for individual students
• Become aware of the academic standards used in monitoring progress and implement those standards
• Use time
