Afterschool Tutor (Non-Public Schools) Location(s): St. Joan of Arc, St. Charles Catholic, Riverside Academy Job SummaryThe Afterschool Tutor provides academic support and targeted instruction to students in an afterschool setting to reinforce classroom learning, improve academic achievement, and promote student success. Working under the supervision of the site administrator or program coordinator, the tutor delivers individualized and small-group instruction, monitors student progress, and fosters a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in core academic subjects, including reading, English language arts, mathematics, and/or science.
• Experience working with school-age children in an educational, tutoring, mentoring, or youth development setting preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
• Current or retired Louisiana certified teacher, paraprofessional, college student pursuing an education degree, or other individual with demonstrated content knowledge.
• Familiarity with educational technology and online learning platforms.
