JOB SUMMARY: This position assists the Supervisor of Nursing Services in carrying out the district's health program by implementing a comprehensive health services program. The role of the Substitute Nurse is to provide for the general health and well-being of the student population and school community. The Substitute Nurse duties are to assist schools by filling in at a Health Room or by providing 1:1 nursing care to students within the Northshore School District Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training or equivalent is required. SALARY: 2026-27 Substitute Pay Rates are pending; 25-26 Sub Pay Rate: $52.77/hour Salary is based upon the current ESP Collective Bargaining Agreement. Sub nurses receive an additional $25 for Friday assignments. WORK YEAR/HOURS Work hours will vary based on the assignment. Assignments are chosen by the substitute through our absence management system. BENEFITS Substitutes become benefit eligible after subbing for 630 hours during the school year. Your coverage would go from the first of the month after reaching the 630 hours though 8/31. After reaching 630 hours for two school years in a row, your coverage would be continuous for the following school year. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Click "Login and Apply" to start your application.
