Medical/Dental/Vision no waiting period Benefits Paid sick time Vacation time 15 days for year round employees Summers off for all school based employees Holiday pay or Non Contract days Group Life Insurance Savings plans American Fidelity Employee Assistance Program Anthem EAP Public Service Loan Forgiveness Public Service Loan Forgiveness GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Family Support Specialist will recruit and enroll children in accordance with the Ohio Department of Education Pre-School regulations, BCESC policies and procedures; serve as a liaison between parents and staff; assess and ensure that comprehensive services are provided for all children on caseload and to link families with the appropriate community social service/health service agency for direct services. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred in social services, sociology, psychology, or related field. • Two years relevant work experience in family/social services. • Knowledge of community resources and health and human system operations. • Valid Ohio driver's license with good driving record and daily access to private insured vehicle during working hours. • Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving, and team building skills. • Computer expertise appropriate to the position. • History of good job attendance. • Must pass criminal background checks and be free from communicable diseases. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year as established by the Governing Board. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non - prescribed controlled substance use in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District. EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
