SCHOOL NURSE, Long Term Substitute for 26-27 school year POCOPSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Available August 24, 2026 Certification: Educational Specialist - Certified School Nurse preferred Registered Nurses with a BSN Degree are encouraged to apply AVAILABLE: August 2026 QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college or university and hold a proper Pennsylvania certification for the position
• Current PA Registered Nurse license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Pennsylvania School Nurse Certification
• CPR/AED certification
• Background/experience preferred in first aid, pediatric nursing, community health nursing, critical care nursing, medical surgery nursing, and/or emergency room nursing
• Knowledge of current Child Abuse Law
• To follow the standard of member conduct as stated in the PA Code of Professional Practice and Conduct for Educators.
• Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements.
• Candidate must adhere to all local, state, federal, and school code requirements for employment.
