Non-Intensive Paraeducator (GenEd) Needed Location: Williston Central School This position will remain open until filled. However, applications received within the first seven days of posting will receive priority consideration. Williston Central School (WCS) is seeking an energetic and caring Non-Intensive Paraeducator to join our general education team. We are looking for a skilled individual to assist, supervise, and provide vital support to assigned students and groups as directed by licensed professionals. This position is essential to our mission of fostering student growth and independence. The successful candidate will be a strong advocate for inclusive education, an innovative problem-solver, and a positive, collaborative contributor to our school community. Primary Responsibilities

• Support instructional activities (including behavioral instruction) developed and adjusted by designated professionals.

• Supervise students across school settings when assigned, including during lunch and recess duties.

• Assist in fostering student independence and self-advocacy so that students can fully participate in all school activities.

• Collect data on student progress to share with designated educational personnel.

• Communicate effectively with appropriate educational personnel and related service providers.

• Participate in team meetings upon request.

• Provide support for students on bus routes when assigned.

• Maintain a flexible, creative approach to problem-solving and demonstrate a consistent willingness to learn.
