About this role

Program Director for the Afterschool Program at Williamstown Elementary School 6 hr day. Program includes a summer program during the month of June. The 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program (CCLC) is a U.S. Department of Education program, administered through the states, providing grants to schools, youth development agencies, community and faith-based organizations, to provide high quality, expanded learning opportunities outside of regular school hours for children in a safe and sound educational environment. The program is authorized under Title IV, Part B, of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. The main purposes of this program are to:

• Provide opportunities for academic enrichment to help students at risk meet Federal, State and local student performance standards in core academic subjects such as reading and mathematics;

• Offer students a broad array of additional services, programs and activities, that are designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program of participating students;

• Offer families of students served by 21st CCLC opportunities for literacy and related educational development.

Williamstown Independent Schools Job Description-21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) Site Coordinator TITLE: 21st Century CLC Site Coordinator QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required REPORTS TO: 21st Century Program Director JOB GOAL: To serve as the Site Coordinator for the 21st Century after school program PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Program planning for the regular school year and summer session

• Scheduling of staff (certified and classified)

• Community outreach to find additional program partners

• Collaboration with community partners to provide support for programming

• Collaboration and communication with regular school day teachers and staff on student progress and needs

• Data entry in the Cayen online program

• Collecting and analyzing data related to grant goals

• Planning, attending, and communicating progress and needs to the Advisory Council

• Completing program requests, quarterly reports, budget amendments, etc.

• Managing necessary paperwork related to the grant and programming

• Communicating with grant representatives

• Working in the program

• Communicating with families

• Planning and conducting family engagement opportunities

• Attending necessary trainings, conferences, and meetings related to strengthening the program

• Providing support to program staff

• Maintaining appropriate participant information and confidentiality of information

• Effective communication with the Program Director and school administration

• Performs other duties consistent with the position assigned, and may be requested by the Program Director, Principal, or Superintendent

• Collaborative practices in working with staff and administration

• Practices, policies, and procedures involved in the functioning of the 21st Century program

• District organization, operations, policies and procedures
