Woolfolk Approved Date: May 17, 2022 SUMMARY Perform Title I budget coordination and review. Performs Title I department administrative duties as instructed by the Executive Director of Federal Programs as it relates to Title I activities and other duties as assigned by Executive Director of Federal Programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
• Assist the Budgetary Supervisor with all Title I school & district budgets, and nonpublic school's budgets in the e Grant Management System.
• Prepare, maintain and monitors budget for Title I administrative office.
• Analyze records to provide budget and carryover projections.
• Prepare reports for meetings when needed.
• Assist with loading budgets into local and state systems.
• Assist in verifying account numbers have been set up for each school and district Title I accounts.
• Assist in reviewing budgets to ensure items budgeted are allowable and budgeted in the correct category.
• Attends and assists with Title I meetings and training events related to Title I activities.
• Attend district, state and national conferences and workshops to gain knowledge of state and federal guidelines.
• Assist principals with budget preparation and compliance.
• Ensure that schools are spending funds in a timely manner.
• Assist with figuring budget allocations, set asides calculations, and per pupil ratio calculations.
• Compile reports for Title I for administrators and supervisors.
• Code invoices.
• Perform office/administrative duties as instructed.
• Provide technical support to schools as needed.
• Provide information for auditors (local, state and federal) and answers questions, as needed.
• Prepare budget templates for the Title I Department and Title I schools
• Assist with verifying all school staff members are paid from appropriate funding sources.
• Ensure that schools are in compliance with annual staffing verification.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Capability equivalent to that normally achieved through at least four to six years of progressive professional experience. Five years of job-related experience and bachelor's degree preferred. Must have a working knowledge of guidelines for federally funded programs. SKILLS RELATED

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
