We are seeking a professional individual who would like to join our team as an Long-Term Substitute Intervention Specialist in an ESC self-contained classroom at Miami East High School (3825 OH-589, Casstown, OH 45312). *This position is hired and employed through the Miami County Educational Service Center. Selected individual must be willing to work toward obtaining their Alternative Resident Educator Licensure (AREL) through the State Board of Education within two-years of their hire date. Required Hours: 7:15 am - 2:45 pm Address of Building: Miami East High School @ 3825 OH-589, Casstown, OH 45312 Status: Full-Time (This position is full time and eligible for health, dental, vision and life insurance). • Will work with students experiencing multiple disabilities. • Must have (or will be obtaining) an SBOE license as: • Intervention Specialist with either mild to moderate or moderate to intensive teaching fields OR • Substitue Teaching License and/or • Willing to work toward obtaining an Alternative Resident Educator License - Teaching Field/Content Area = Intervention Specialist (PreK-12).
