INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME VACANCIES AT ZOOM FIBRE
Zoom Fibre, in partnership with MICT SETA, invites applications from suitably qualified unemployed South African graduates to participate in a 12-month Internship Programme. This programme provides valuable workplace experience within the Media, Information and Communication Technologies (MICT) sector and aims to equip graduates with practical skills to improve their employability.
Interns will receive structured workplace exposure, mentoring, and practical experience in line with the MICT SETA internship requirements.
Internship Details

• Duration: 12 Months
• Remuneration: Stipend to be confirmed once successful
Minimum requirements
Applicants must:
• Be a South African citizen.
• Be currently unemployed.
• This is a youth-based opportunity, only between the ages of 18 and 35 years will be considered
• Have not previously participated in an MICT SETA-funded internship or a similar internship in the same qualification.
• Hold one of the following qualifications:
• Three-year National Diploma in IT or a related systems and/or networking qualification (advantageous)
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related systems and/or networking qualification (advantageous)
• Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5) in IT or a related systems and/or networking qualification (advantageous)
• Be willing to commit to the full 12-month internship programme.
• Be available to work full-time in Rivonia, Gauteng.

• Candidate must reside in and/or around the area or alternatively have reliable transportation.
Business Hours
• You will be required to work 08h00 to 17h00 and/or 9 hours as determined by the department/operational requirements.
• You will be responsible for your transport to and from work/ learning facilities.

• Ability to work independently, show initiative and work within a team.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and office protocol.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Must demonstrate a genuine interest in and passion in telecommunications industry and customer service.
• Excellent time management (punctual, reliable and efficient) and communication.
