Serve as a front-line representative for KYCO Student Affairs by providing clerical support, assisting with events, and supporting departmental communication and outreach efforts in a professional medical school setting.
Responsibilities and Career Competencies:
• Attend front desk and act as first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing information on office policies and procedures – CT, C, P, CTR
• Assist with and contribute to events hosted by departmental staff – C, TW, P
• Develop relationships with faculty, staff, and students in a professional, medical school environment – C, CTR, P
• Contribute to projects involving data analysis, social media, web content, and budgeting – CT, C, TW, T
• Make campus deliveries and provide clerical support including proofreading and filing – TW
• Use MS Word, Excel, and phone systems; compile data using software programs – T
• Prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, and work inclusively in diverse settings – L, CTR
• Maintain confidentiality, be punctual, and communicate schedule changes in advance – P
• Effectively communicate availability and skills in letter of application – CSD

Education Requirements: Must be a current UPIKE student in good standing.

Work Schedule: Flexible depending on student schedule; generally Monday–Friday.
Physical Demands: Keyboarding, Reaching/handling, Stooping/kneeling, Crouching/crawling, Climbing, Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.

Pay Rate: $8.75/hour
